How many times is the NBDE 1 exam available/year?

and what are the months which you could apply to take the exam in?
is there only 1 book to study from? if so why do some people complain that some questions came from something not mentioned at all😡

Hi,
You can take the exam any time of the year since it is now computer based.Before it was paper based and was only twice a year .
There are different books that u can refer but mainly most use the Kaplan & decks[b'coz they are more exam oriented].This doesn't mean that they can ask only from these books.The topics are vast & questions can come which ever way they want.
