So, I took the MCAT last August and my breakdown was as follows: 11V, 10P, 9B, P. My preparation involved reading some old princeton review books for biology, gen/o chem, and physics - followed by doing the three most recent AAMC practice tests that were available at the time. I did this in a course of about three weeks before the test. It should also be noted that I hadn't formally taken cell/molecular biology or organic chemistry 2 at the time, and I found it pretty difficult to try and learn ochem2 topics from the princeton review books so I sort of gave up on trying to study for that part.

Fast forward to now. I've taken cell/molec bio and ochem 2 and I'm currently awaiting my decision for the only school I really want to go to. If I don't get in, however, I'm planning on buying the examkrackers package here (http://www.examkrackers.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=68) and studying for 2 months until the mid-May MCAT. With cell bio and ochem2 out of the way, in addition to at least 10 weeks with examkrackers, how much can I expect to improve my score?

Edit: Also, I should mention that I was terrible with my time management and it really felt like there was one passage too many in the PS section (I left somewhere around 10-15 questions blank on the PS section because I didn't heed the 1-minute warning). I hope I don't run into this problem the next time around.

You need to study for the sciences harder. With an 11VR already...you have the potential to hit some pretty high scores.

Yep, this is very true - lots of improvement can be made in your sciences, since you can actually study for them.

Yep, it sounds like you're in really good shape and just need to go over the science stuff a little more and you'll be ready. good luck!
