I just started seriously studying for the DAT and have about 8 weeks before the real exam. I took some preliminary practice tests, went through them fast just to get the hang of the questions, and scored between 18-20 for each science section. How much of an improvement did all of you see between starting out with your diagnostic tests and actually taking the DAT after studying?

Before hitting any biology, I scored a few 16's in qvault. I'm now in the 19-22 range.

I took the old DAT posted by the ADA and got like 16 or 17 before studying. I got a 21 on the real thing

I studied casually from March 1 to April 21 while taking a lot of classes and doing a lot of extra stuff and only got an 18. I studied from June 1st to August 1 for the retake while doing research full time and planning my wedding and taking the week before off for a honeymoon and got the 21.
