As I study for biochem and shoot for an A, while competing against a wicked bell curve, I wonder if it really matters? At first I thought maybe say 4.0 would push me over the hump at some schools. But has anyone had experience with getting great grades the fall of applying and it actually becoming a factor? Obviously it would help, but to what degree? It also seems that most interview spots are given out before the fall grades come in anyway. I can see it helping @ USC and some other west coast schools b/c they accept pretty late, but are most of their interview and acceptance seats gone by mid december?
