So 2-3k for a c section. Any idea how much of that the physician gets? I've been told 1kish. Does that sound correct?

Prenatal care $300-$500
Delivery (C/D or vaginal) $400-500
Where I am at, a physician makes $6 more for a C/D than a vaginal delivery. Just to dispel the notion that physicians are raking it in with C/Ds. Not to mention the increased length of stay and additional rounding.

I've done some more research, seems a huge benefit comes in the form of more new patients and keeping your practice young and healthy vs all COPD DM HTN etc
