Is genetics from high school, general biology enough??
I was wondering this too because my TPR Biology book has a good 35 or so pages about genetics as a chapter covering how to read pedigrees, calculate probabilities with punnett squares and rules, hardy weinberg, and a whole slew of other stuff. In contrast, my EK Bio book spends like 9 pages on that kind of stuff with a chapter entitled "Populations", just covering basics + like hardy weinberg. Any input would be appreciated!
What are good resources to use if we are weak in genetics?
Friends of mine that took the MCAT in 2012 said that genetics was the most heavily tested bio topic. I would rather be over-prepared by reading those 35 TPR pages than kicking yourself after the test for bombing a whole genetics passage
