I'm finally done with all of my finals today, so now I am being bored and unproductive. :D

    So far....I've spent:

    PharmCAS: $900
    Supplemental Fees: $1080
    Interviews:
    -Midwestern CCP: $460
    -UH-Hilo: $235
    PCAT Oct 08: $125 + $62.50 (Cancellation)
    PCAT Jan 09: $125
Transcripts: $50 (I took classes at so many colleges!)

    Grand Total: $3037.50

I added up everything on Excel, and the numbers are freaking me out!:scared: I just hope I get accepted to somewhere by the end of this cycle!

At least $1000. PharmCAS + 4 supplementals, suit, transcripts, AP scores, traveling costs, etc. And I've yet to get interview invites from 3 of the schools...hopefully the cost will rise soon.

I've spent upwards towards 800 myself, without traveling. In retrospect, I was accepted to one of my top choices, the others were just shots in the dark that, if I didn't get in anywhere, I may have a shot there. If you have good scores and something that makes you unique you have a very good chance... no need to apply to a dozen schools. I'm sure you're fine though!

I am amazed at the costs people are willing to bear...

My own applying to pharmacy school didn't set me back more than $50...

Hopefully the both of us will get accepted to somewhere this year! Think it this way, at least we don't feel regretful for not giving our best shots. Hopefully that time will come after the holidays! :)

    Holy crap,
I thought my 340 $ for pharmcas was a lot, but then including airfare, hotel stays (me and parent), I may soon approach your guys' levels too.
    Best of luck, all.

Yea, I'm happy that the both of us got accepted to one school this year. If you do get accepted to a CA school, will you choose a CA school over USN?

Adding this up might make me cry.
PCAT class: $1300 (how much will you pay for a 99 composite? lol)
    PCAT 2008: $125
    PharmCAS: $260
    Supplemental fees: $310
    Priority mail: $20
    Transcripts: $30
Travel to 4 interviews: approx. $600
    Suit/shoes/drying cleaning fees/etc: $400
    Total: lots.

My tip: don't apply to 15 schools if you don't think you can get into most of them, those supplemental fees add up. I only applied to 5 and saved money by forgoing the interview at my last choice school. Do get delivery confirmation when mailing those checks with supplementals.

Not too bad for one application and acceptance but it is going to cost me a whole heap of money to move. Owning a house in an area especially hard hit by the real estate crash stresses me out.

I don't even want to tally it up I prob spent over $4000 with 6 interviews. I had to decline the last one. I ended up getting accepted to a school that only cost me a $40 train ride plus was my first choice. Ironic!
