Hey everyone, I'm applying for Psych. Any idea if interview invites may come even without a transcript showing all cores completed yet or for that matter a CK score being in yet? I'm debating having a current transcript uploaded now without family medicine, pediatrics, and OB/Gyn grades showing (the final grades will be computed after my patient logs which I submitted a few weeks ago get graded), or I could wait a few weeks and have the grades for these 3 and my away rotation at a prestigious university on my transcript...better to submit one transcript now and then an updated one in a few weeks, or should i just wait a few weeks and then submit a complete one? I suppose I'm afraid some programs won't upload and look at a new transcript when it comes through, but I'm not sure if this is true?

Aren't the most important things looked at to screen for residency interviews Step 1, med school you attend, and clinical grades? Would Step 2, eras CV, LORs and PS also be a factor for screening who to interview?

Thanks so much for your help!

I would upload your transcript now, and then reload it as soon as you can. I think programs see your updated app automatically (the eras software automatically downloads the most up to date version). The only risk is that they would look at your app now, see it's not complete enough for them, and then put it aside until they've looked at, and invited for interviews, everyone behind you--I don't really think that's all that likely (especially as you seem to have most of the pertinent things uploaded already).

Have not submitted my school transcript yet. (I'm waiting for a grade). Only one LoR has been uploaded(so far).

Got an invite today (approx 3 hrs after my USMLE transcript was uploaded).

My school uploaded the transcript last week but they only have it go up to 3rd year grades. Anything from the beginning of 4th year (including my AI) to when the Dean's Letter is released goes in a section on their letter. I also received invites today so I'd think that it doesn't matter unless your application is weak one without it. I also am caught up in the CK score delay, haven't taken CS yet, and don't have one of my letters uploaded.

Hey guys, quick question about transcripts: our school hasn't sent them out yet...we just have to "verify" with our school and the school's admin's will then upload the transcript onto ERAS right? I don't see any places for me to actually upload transcript.

Also, once the transcript is uploaded, do you see it as an item in your "Supporting Documents" section?

Thanks!!!

I'm sure every school is different but at mine we were required to fill out a transcript request form and just say it was for ERAS. AFAIK there is not an option to upload it yourself.

Yes the transcript does appear in supporting documents
