Hey Everyone!

I am working this summer so I wanted to know how much I should save for the DAT. I really want to do well and know I am going to have to study super hard I have like 3.6 gpa, but I really limited in cash. How much do recommend spending on materials?

You can buy used DAT destroyer, Math Destroyer, download KBB from online for free, Crack DAT PAT, CDR, cliffs ap bio or Barrons AP bio, Chads video subscription for 1 month. Either Topscore or Achiever.may cost upto $500. Or you can search through forums and try other resources. There are many notes on predds dot net.

Be cautious not to overbuy by thinking you need a ton of difference sources. You can actually waste your time by getting a ton of stuff just to "get through" it all, when in reality you're not absorbing much of it. I recommended 3 good sources and a set of practice tests and stick to that. I bought Kaplan blue book, TopScore, and Cliffs AP Bio (and Barrons, which was terrible so that doesn't count).

Either way, make sure you have a good plan and know what your weaknesses are before you start going nuts buying stuff.

Buy Chad's subscription and destroyer, that's what really will help you.

These are a MUST HAVE:
-Chad's Vids (about $30-$90 depends on how many days youd like to have it. I would do 3 months so you could do all the quizzes) SDNers have said "GREAT for GC, OC, QR...plus he's got BIO now"
-DAT Destroyer + Math Destroyer Combo ($200) As SDNers have said "Extremely good for BIO, OC, GC, MATH"
-Topscore ($55)
-Cliff's AP Bio ($10 on Amazon)
-BIO QVault ($30 for 90 days)
-Achiever ($110 for 5 tests)
-Crack DAT PAT ($99)
-ADA 07 Exam is free online
-Alans Notes are free

Total you're looking at ~$584 (this depends on how long you get some of the subscriptions and which type you get)


DO NOT BUY KAPLAN!!! Its expensive and wont help you as much for the DAT.
