Just wondering what's the best way to prepare for the review course to get the most out of it. My goal was to try to finish Ho's book before attending the course, but it's freakin' 700 pages!

I have only gotten through 200 pages, I have just found it extremely difficult to work full-time taking call and still study after a full day at work. I am hoping to get through another 100 or so pages this week before flying out for the course.

What did everybody else do? I don't want to show up unprepared either since we are going to be examining each other and I'd hate to sound like an imbecile.

same thing, finished about 300 pages...

Instead of focusing just on his notes, practice answering questions aloud, both by yourself and with your partners, if you can. I read Ho's notes and thought they were pretty good, but practicing aloud is the key. Perusing Yao & Artusio doesn't hurt either. For most of my prep, I read the Loushin text and oral board review book. I thought those were excellent.
Good luck! It will be over sooner than you think!
