OKay.... so... AMCAS in and verified, MCAT taken and scores not to be released for another couple weeks still, summer job doesn't start for another week, I've tried baking, running, world cupping, and yet I can't seem to stop checking SDN and obsessing about how med schools are going to receive my app. How do I distract myself? Granted you're all here so you're maybe just as obsessed as I am, but any ideas would be appreciated 🙂

When I'm obsessing, I find the best thing for me is to just obsess. I know that's probably not what you're looking for, but if it is something you care about, why not let it out and accept it? Sure, it is out of your hands now, but this is one of the most important steps of your life (I'm assuming!). You deserve a little bit of obsession. I guess there is ONE thing left to try... You mentioned baking. Have you tried eating? 🙂 I, personally, absolutely LOVE eating. All kidding aside, good luck to you. I hope all ends well.

Some obsession is baseline - just don't let it get to you. Once your job starts, maybe turn off phone e-mail notifications so you're not tempted to keep checking it? Or just do that now.
