Hi guys

I initially didnt consider NYU as an option but my friend told me that they offer scholarship , which seems like a great deal even with the big cost of tuitions.

However I dont know if its even worth it to apply if they give out to 5 out of 300

anyone know the approximate numbers??

Thanks!!!

They probably don't post official numbers on that, but I would guess (esp for a large matriculant pool like NYU) that it would not be a lot.

Last year, it seemed that the highest scholarship they offered was 25,000/year. That sounds like a lot at first, but when you look at the tuition and cost of living in NYC, it really still isn't affordable. And, moreover, they give few of these scholarships.

I actually know someone with DAT scores from every section in the mid-20s, 4.0 gpa from a good school, and extensive research and club involvement who didn´t get the scholarship, so i would say don´t bank on it.

Damm, with those credentials, that person chose NYU?
