17 years old. Step back pedophiles! *hissss*

I hope to get into pharmacy school at 19, but will probably get in when I've finished getting a BS, so I'd be 21.

haha. 30 is still young. my dad is 62, that's old. haha
The difference is your dad is male, while Nerdgirl is female (one would assume).

She's about 5 years from her reproductive "expiry date"! :scared:

lol if I shave, people think I am 15. In reality I am 19 and started my 3 year program so I am planning to go to pharmacy school 22 and then get out around 26.

By that logic, males will never be considered old?

I turned 21 in August. I will be 23 when I graduate.

Well, females tend to be a whole lot more aware of and concerned about their age than are males, due to social pressures but also evolutionary reasons (i.e. reproduction).

So I'm not saying our reproductive potential defines our age directly, but it can affect how old we feel, especially in the case of females.

I hope that makes sense.

In any case, I wasn't meaning to insult Nerdgirl or women in any way. I was just trying to be funny, and was perhaps a little inappropriate. 😳

22 right now, will be 23 when I begin attending Pharm school in Fall 09 (if all goes as planned, ha)

I will be 21 next month wait it is September now....in 16 days I will be 21! and I'm applying for 2009.

this thread makes me feel old and not old all at the same time.... odd right? ill prob be 31 close to 32 when i graduate with my pharmd (i will also have a BA in Media Communications and a BS in Chem or/Bio so i dont feel "that" slacker like)

P-1 and P-2 are pre-pharmacy years

those of us who graduate with a pharmd when we're 30-somethings need to stick together. 😛

I was 21 when I graduated with a BS in Biology.
I was 24 when I left medical school for spinal sugery(in 4th year).
I was 26 when I got accepted in my first program, South University, but had to have medical procedure.
I was 28 when I started UGA's Pharmd program, But left when Diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
I was 30 when I was accepted "early Admissions" in Utmemphis PharmD program.
I was and am 31when I deferred the 2008 fall class of 2012 admission for Pitiutary Problems.
Will be 32, IF not dead, when I began classes at UTmemphis in the fall 2009.

I hope I do not get a senior citizen discount and have half-million in student loans by the time I get my professional degree. $130,000.00 in the hole from the wonderful medical college of GA. Can't pay that off working at Buger King.

33

Hope to apply in a year or so... I want to graduate wayyyy before I turn 40 😀

I'm not that far behind you...I'll be 29 when I graduate from pharmacy school. It's a little weird being in class with a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds. I mean, how do people know what they want to do at that age? I certainly didn't.:scared:

Oh my goodness! You have certainly gone through a lot! All the best to you and I really hope you'll return with great health in 2009! (hugs)

Same here!!! I'm 22 now, hopefully I will get in by the time I am 23.... graduate when I am 27... I feel young now but thinking about being 27 when I graduate sounds so depressing and wasn't apart of the plan when I first entered college 🙁

omg i feel the sameeee exact way! i really never thought i would be that old when i graduate, im 22 now and i was thinking about applying for 2009 but i wanted to raise my gpa first so now im going to apply for 2010 😱 im so nervous! ive grown a grey hair!! but ive been told i look so young lol, it just doesnt make any sense! ahh the stresss! have u guys heard that cali schools are gonna start requiring the pcat for admissions to start in 2010??? or is that a rumor??

I just turned 33 the same month (Aug) that I began on my pre-reqs. I hope be finished with pharmacy school by the time I am 40. I don't have any degree at all, and have been working in the security industry for 8 yrs. It's never too late.

I'm 20, but I look like 16. One time I went to saloon to get my hair done for 2nd year college formal, and the lady thought it was for my junior high prom...I was like "LOL"...

Okay, I have to preface this by stating I am a second career student. I am 36 and will be 37 if I get into pharmacy school this year. I will be 41 when I graduate. :wow:

21 now, get into pharmacy by 22, come out by 26? time does not matter for me; how much I can change people's lives matter.

"It's a little weird being in class with a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds. I mean, how do people know what they want to do at that age? I certainly didn't"

I concur.

Ouch. No one let you delay the programs due to medical problems? Sheesh. That sucks. In grad school, I think you're allowed to take off a quarter or two for personal reasons.

I'm 29😳😳
