I'm wondering how I should respond if an interviewer asks me about my low science GPA?

I'm not sure what the appropriate response is. The school I went to had GPA killer science classes. I've had pre-med friends who took certain classes at different schools over the summer to avoid it at our school. I went through with it and did my best.

I'm worried I'll be asked about it though and don't know the appropriate response.

don't make excuses about the classes being to difficult.
When I was asked about the couple C's on my record I was honest "I was immature at the time and I wasn't prepared for the rigor. I didn't realize that my studying habits that had worked for me in other classes need to be altered on a class by class basis. So as I went foward I got better and changed my habits from class to class to maximize my efforts and I've had definite improvement."

Any answer in response to a question regarding a flaw in your application should demonstrate three things:

1) an acknowledgment of it (no excuses)
2) how you dealt with it
3) how you have improved from it

Rule #76: no excuses. Play like a champion

You look them in the eye, you don't make excuses, and you tell them the truth.
