Hello all,

I was wondering if any of you have purchased all of the practice tests on e-mcat.com (through aamc's website) and taken all of the practice tests before taking the REAL MCAT in 2008 or 2009? Are the practice tests current in terms of level of difficulty of the questions? Or are the practice tests offered through e-mcat.com easier than the REAL MCAT currently (2008-2009)?

Overall, the entire AAMC FL series is easier than the current MCAT. The lower the AAMC FL number, the lower the difficultly (ie. 3 is significantly easier than 10). Secondly, verbal passages are now longer than the AAMC. Finally, BS is becoming more like verbal where you have to analyze the passages in a similar fashion.

longer as in longer passages/more questions, or an extra passage?

so does that mean if you suck at verbal that'l influence your bs section?

longer passage length, same amount of questions/passages. Bio is becoming more verbal like, but I think AAMC 7-10 is pretty close to the way bio is presented on the real thing...
