Smart is such a subjective term, and everyone usually thinks they are smarter than they really are, but I'd like to see how smart the other premed students on this forum are.

Me? I had my IQ tested at the age of like 5, so I have no idea of its accuracy, but it was around 152. Seeing other kids in my school, I really don't think its that high. I'm a first year, second semester student, so my classes aren't really hard yet, but I actually have to work on stuff in order to get good grades. I am at the top of my class in all but one of my classes, but this mainly comes from hard work. I don't go out a whole lot, especially during the week, and I really study for everything and get all my work turned in.

So how about you?

I am not smart and generally feel that I am getting dumber by the day. I might write more about this later.

My IQ is 97, as per an online test claimed to be "developed and rigorously validated by real PhD psychologists". This should make you feel better about yourself.

To be honest, I don't really study and work at the last minute yet have a 4.0. So there is hope for all of you out there with IQs below 100!

Am I smarter than the average person? Hell yes. Smarter than the average college student? Usually. Genius? Definitely not. I'd probably say my IQ is 130. I took a formal IQ test in middle school, but I don't remember the results.

I'm in the middle of an all-nighter. So I'll tell you how smart I feel after my test today.

dude, i am so smart, i have successfully divided a real number by zero.

I may not be as smart as this guy... but I'm trying

Tested into gifted program back in the day. I think the IQ minimum was 130? Don't know and don't really care.

You know the movie Good Will Hunting? It's based on me.

Just look at the grace with which I dispatch this rapscallion. I can kick your ass too.

What do you mean by "top of [the] class"? Top 10%? Top 5%? Highest grade?

I've got the highest grade in one of my classes (40-50 people), highest grade in all the sections taught by a prof I'm taking this semester (~40 people), and I'm in the top 10% in another class (I'm 2nd or 3rd in a class of ~22).

My IQ is ~120. I have to work really hard to get the grades I'm getting...

oK i THINK THAT IS ENOUGH TROLLING FOR ONE DAY!!

OP, I'm in med school therefore I am smarter than you :meanie:

I wonder if there is a term, like Burnett's Law, to describe the act of claiming intellectual superiority over someone else simply due to your location along the credentialing process? I know you're just kidding, but it does get thrown out all the time, as if that's an effective counter to an argument. "I disagree with you, and I've been accepted/matriculated, therefore I'm right." Hmmm....

Smart enough not to post in this threa...o****

How smart am I?

I was first in my class at Princeton, I have an I.Q. of a hundred and eighty-seven, and it's been suggested that Stephen Hawking stole his Brief History of Time…from my fourth grade paper.

This law shall be named Pons' Law.

Legally Blonde reference... nice. 👍

I can't tell which is worse; this thread or threads about how many times you've had sex.... How do we measure intelligence?

The more I learn, the more I discover how much I don't know, which feels odd. I think it's healthy to have feelings of inadequacy. I'll probably be studying for the rest of my life and never come close to knowing as much as I'd like to know.

uh, is that really a serious question? I'm ASIAN bruh!! of course I'm smart!! 🙄

srsly, half the time I'm lost

I used to be really smart when I was 5, too. Now, not so much.

Well there is this...

Of course there's also this...

So it's a bit of a double-edged sword. Or something.
So intelligence and penis size isinversely proportional? Does that mean most people on SDN have tiny Ds?

Take the wonderlic...

Haha this test is actually pretty hard. They gave it to a bunch of ortho residents, attendings, and med students here, and the scores weren't as high as you might think, you have to go pretty fast.

Sooo what happenes if your mix? lol cause technically I'm half white does this mean my pee pee is big AND I'm smart? lol
