Hey all, i know like 3000 threads are postd about letters of intent every year but i couldnt find one on this particular subject.
I was recently waitlisted at my top choice and want to send a letter of intent. However, it is clear to me that there will probably be very little movement on the waitlist before may 15 because many students understandably like to leave their options open for as long as possible. knowing this, would it be more beneficial to send a letter closer to that date so the addmissions commitie sees it immediatly before making their desicions (if that makes sense at all..) or as early as possible so they think that youve intenteded to go to their school even before results from other schools were known to you.
