Which DO schools require two science LORs? Also, how strict are they in requiring two (as opposed to just sending 1 sci, 2 non-sci)?

Would a LOR from my advisor in the psychology department be good also?

Which DO schools require two science LORs? What do you want everyone on the forum to do your leg work for you? How hard is it to go on a website and see for yourself?

So, a school has listed that it requires two hard science LOR's and you want to know if that is what they mean from a forum?

No, they do not mean what they say and yes they really mean that you only have to send in one letter from a psychology professor. And even this optional.

You may even get an invite without even interviewing because you can see past what they mean and read so well between the lines.

Obviously, the first "response" to your question isn't going to help you very much, but I see where they were trying to go, except I will be a bit nicer about it. Your best bet is to contact each school you want to apply to. Their websites are going to say you need this or that, but if you call/email them and explain why you can't obtain their required LOR's, they may be able to make an exception for you. Unfortunately, that is about as much help you are going to get b/c none of us here can answer the question b/c none of us are on any adcom.

If you are talking about DMU, I called and asked last year. They said that if I was a non-trad, I could substitute with a former boss or something like that but I needed to get prior permission. I still ended up just getting two science letters even though I didn't really know the professors and a letter from my boss so that there would be no issues. I would call the schools that you are applying to.
