Hi,
I just got in to a foreign medical school. The classes start in Feb. 2005, which doesn't give me enough time to decide on an american school really... I have to let the International school know by Oct. 30th what my decision is.

Can someone tell me what I should do? I can't just accept. Should I call, e-mail, or write and request that I get deferred for one year??

Any advice appreciated. Normally, if you get accepted, what are the appropriate lines of action? Do you respond via e-mail since they e-mailed you?? What to do!?

Congratulations Adag! 👍 Sorry I have no idea about the process

I think that the first thing is to call the school that you got accepted to and ask if they even offer deferrment. why did you apply if you didn't really want to go? did you know that their schools started ealier than ours? not giving you a hard time just want to know the answers to the questions!! 😉

I believe I read that she wanted to work with the native Aborigine people of Australia so she applied. I remember because I thought that was interesting and she went to my ugrad. I was class of 2003 too, haha.

Congrats. Must feel good to be accepted so early, even in a foreign school who most likely have tougher admissions standards for foreign students. Good job 👍
