Dear experts,
I left a program in another health field a few years ago after becoming hospitalized and taking an extended medical leave of absence. By the time I was cleared to return, I had lost all of the manual skills necessary to complete the program, and I knew since my first year of the program that I was more committed to pursuing medicine, so I chose to leave. This was over five years ago, and since then I started from scratch to rebuild my application and credentials.
I was able to explain this in my medical school application and interviews and ultimately matriculated into a US MD program. I'm only an MS1, but I need to submit my CV to various research programs. I am unsure of how to talk about my unfinished degree, as it involved a lot of research and I did leave on good terms. How do I address an unfinished graduate degree on my CV?
Thank you.
