after years of hard work, I've finally gotten to this point.

i've been practicing my interview skills and have noticed that i tend to ramble.

ig i was just looking for general advice for interviews (traditional ones, not MMI). is 3-4 minutes rlly too much for those answers?

1) no longer than 1-2 minutes
2) No, you shouldn't be rehearsing so much, and never memorize it. Keep practicing.

Agree that about 60-90 seconds is the sweet spot for any answer.

It is good to prepare, but don't memorize

Is this new? and is there anxiety is other areas of your life too?

For talking, as above 1-2 min max. And TBH, unless you've really got more to tell and/or a really interesting story, 2 is probably too much.
