I received a letter from UDM asking among other things, for a reason why I haven't retaken the DAT. My scores weren't aweful, but not amazing either. The honest answer is that I just didn't want to do it again, in between work, school, and all other things, and possibly do worse. I would retake if necessary, but if not, obviously I would rather not...

Have any of you answered this type of question, and what did you answer?

Thanks for any and all help...

It depends on your individual scores first of all.

I would say, "I just didn't want to do it again, in between work, school, and all other things, and possibly do worse. I would retake if necessary, but if not, obviously I would rather not... "

👍. If you post your scores from each section, we could help you out a little better.

I totally agree... just be honest. And yes, if you provided a score breakdown, we could give you a better estimate. For example, if you got a 25 in one section and a 15 in another (averaging out to 20), then it's obviously easier to raise the 15. But if you're all 19's and 20's across the board, then it's much harder to raise your score.
