I was wondering if places offered scribe jobs that students can only work during the summer? I know most places are full time but I need a job and it would preferably have to be prehealth related. Are there any other good summer jobs out there that I should consider? THanks in advance!

No major scribe company is going to let you just work for the summer, because classroom training and on site hospital training will probably take a 1-2 months before you're competent enough to be trusted with charting by yourself (this is why they verbally ask for a 2 year commitment) . Maybe a private practice or a small clinic would let you in and vet you themselves.

Don't bother applying. You won't get much out of it and neither can the hospital. Scribing is an actual position that can be given to someone that can work there for a year or two. It takes you up to 4-5 months to really feel comfortable doing the job. Look into doing summer research and shadowing instead. Other options are tutoring.
