if you guys had interviews at these places and got in, how would u decide which one to go to:

1. UMDNJ
2. BU
3. Tufts
4. Pittsburgh
5. Temple
6. NYU
7. Case western reserve

I interviewed at most of these already and have trouble deciding. i got good impressions from all schools. like which is ranked better than others, etc? any opinion is appreciated

You can try to pick between schools when you get accepted.

i'm saying if i get accepted to all...what are good/bad about each program which is ranked higher

You're not a fan of the west coast schools are you?? I really like Case Western, it's a sick school!!! GREAT GREAT SIM LAB!!

While I think it's futile to decide on schools before being invited for interviews, it is helpful to start thinking about where you'd go after you've interviewed. Somehow it's easier to think rationally now as opposed to when acceptances start rolling in ...especially if some acceptances come in before others. In the thrill of the moment, one might start thinking positively about schools that r accept you Dec 1 or negatively about those that don't because you're setting yourself up for not being accepted.

I think it's worthwhile for the OP to hear others' opinions on the schools he/she interviewed at.

Thoughts?

maybe try to first decide location? is near family, environment, weather even factors for you? That should narrow down a bit. Then do some reading on the forum about which schools are good and not that great.

For example, even though if i was in your position i would choose NYU because i live in NYC and it would be comfortable for me. But i have read a lot on here about how NYU is not that great and extremely expensive etc.. etc... So just catch up on some reading as well.

To start, if you've interviewed or will be interviewing at the listed schools, you're likely in pretty good to have multiple acceptances and all of those schools have a good to great reputations. To subjectively answer your question, you'd need to tell us a little more...first, how important is tuition/loans? Are you a resident of any of those states? Next, do you feel more in a traditional curriculum or a PBL type system? Would you prefer living in a rough area (Temple, UMDNJ) or a large city (Tufts/BU/NYU etc)? What was your personal opinion of these places? Did you get a good feel for the faculty, students, facilities? In the end, the choice is yours to make, but you can gather a lot of info around these forums.

Objectively...I'd say Pitt and Case are pretty solid programs, in my opinion.

It is a little early for such thread to appear. Get you acceptances in hand first, it is easier not to be disappointed if you do not have specific favorite....
You could use search button for particular school specific threads from past years. Usually there is bunch of them right after 12/1 every year. Or go back to threads posted a year ago and browse through.
I do not find those posts helpful to decide on the school- it is one predent opinion against another, rarely there is current student who will chimes in.
You could start your own pro and con page for every school you interviewed so details will stay fresh in your mind but other than that...

how would u guys choose between nyu/BU over case?
i like both area and faculty/students at each school impress me. weather is not an issue and cost isnt either. how could u guys decide between BU or case? which school's reputation is better and which is better for people wishign to specialize?
