Hi~
i'm a texas resident(international student-no green card - but tx resident b/c i graduated highschool here)
I am definitely going to apply dental schoos in tx
but i also want to apply dental schools out of tx.
Is it going to be hard for me to get into out of state dental schools? or
residency doesn't matter for private schools?
also.
I want to know how to choose which schools I should apply. what would be considerations?
thanx~

Residence doesn't matter for private schools, you have as much of a chance in getting as any one else.

kiki,
Because you dont have a green card, dental schools will treat you as international regardless of where you got your high school diploma. Therefore,
before applying, you school contact the schools and ask them specifically whether they have any love for internationals.
Most of the public schools give preference to instates so your chance of getting accepted is very low (but by no mean impossble). Again, just go some research and make the decision for urself.
