less so than IM, but there can be a lot of rounding on psych inpt wards.

Glad you guys found these charts entertaining. I left out the subspecialties because otherwise it would be way too complicated. Besides, this way its more relevant to residency application.

I have heard of attendings in an inpatient psych ward conduct rounds three times each day. That amount of rounding would drive me nuts.

Depends on the attending. We rounded once a day. One guy would refuse to round for more than an hour. Former ENT overseas who became a psychiatrist in the US. Was awesome... Psych at the pace of a surgeon...
