How to classify Microbiology Service Learning

I have a few science classes (Like an AIDS in America class and service learning) that are classified as microbiology classes on my transcript. Problem is, I am not completely sure they are science classes. I looked in the AAMCAS help and on all the sticky topics. Anybody have any insight to this? I don't really care if they get calculated into my BCMP GPA, I just want to do it right.
