How to deal with missing class time for interviews?

Is it possible to maintain a high GPA when you have to miss between 10-15 days of class to travel for interviews? Any tips? Or should I just not care so much about class?

Of course it is possible, but it is super hard to do. Interviews happen in the middle of the week and so do tests. All of my interviews required 6+ hours of travel each way and a stay in s hotel. I missed a few tests and assignments and not all of them were allowed to be made up. Ultimately, I didn't care because I was accepted and grades no longer mattered.

For my sport I probably miss at least 1/3 of all my classes and have a 3.9 so it's possible #humblebrag. You need to find someone in the class who will tell you what you missed/copy their notes. Then you should try making up the work during your trip or cut out that last COD game to go over the lecture. It won't be too bad

Your schools will not see any of the grades you earn after you've already submitted your application until after you've graduated and matriculated to your school of choice. Once accepted, it usually will take quite a bit for a school to revoke its acceptance. As long as you don't fail anything, you should be fine.

Still try to do well, but obviously interviews are your top priority.

Keep an eye on due dates/conflicts and bring them up to your professors as soon as possible. If you respect the fact that they give you fair warning on dates (via the syllabus), they will be more receptive to helping you out.

If you're that guy who "suddenly" can't come to class or need an extension on an assignment because you have an interview? Tough.

It depends. For me, all my interviews were within driving distance, so I only ever missed an afternoon or morning of class. Lecture capture made it even easier to keep up. I ended up with a 3.9 the semester I interviewed.

What my friends did was make friends in each class. Connections will get you far.

I plan on pushing all my humanities GE's to the year when I apply. Just tons of reading and maybe essays but at least not a lot of exams.

That is because the University allows you to miss for sports. Some of my classes to not think interviews are a valid excuse so I am not able to make up what I miss. Athletes are allowed to make that stuff up.
