Hi,

I want to apply to some out of state medical schools.
There are some schools who do not admit OUT Of State students at all.
for Example:

The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University does not accept any OOS students.

Can I find a list of schools who accept the OOS students or I have to go to each school's web site an dthen find out. It is very time consuming this way.

This is exactly what the MSAR is for. Alternatively, getting an online U.S. news ranking subscription provides this data as well.

Check the MSAR at your library or buy yourself a copy. It give the statistics for IS vs OOS apps and acceptances by school.

Just FYI, US news provides the # of oos applicants accepted, whereas the MSAR only provides the # of oos applicants that matriculated.
