I have a teacher in my ultrasound program that was a MD in london but wants to become a doctor here inthe U.S and all the schools want him to take the pre reqs again since he graduated like 20 years ago. He is 45 now and just became a U.S citizen and really has no equity that he can show for here inthe US. Can he get a loan for med school? Any help would be appreciated.

Generally a person who gets a medical degree outside the US can't also get a medical degree in the US.

Generally such people take the US board exams and do a US residency to work as a doc in the US. Thousands do this every year. Having US citizenship or permanent residency helps.
