How to identify traps in verbal

i believe the key to doing well on verbal is not in understanding the passages, but being able to identify traps or wrong answers. so those of you who consistently score 10 or higher, tell us how you spot traps

I am talking about answers that you know are wrong without even reading the passage.

and dont mention extreme wording, everybody knows that.
 
if you've noticed..usually the trap answers appear slightly bolded or somewhat tilted to the right. try to squint a little and you'll see what i mean.
 
One thing I've found is there are a lot of trap questions that have very similar wording to a phrase from the passage, except rearranged to make it an opposite answer choice. They trick you because it seems familiar to what you just read, but its completely wrong. If you see an answer choice that looks similar to a direct quote, give it a thorough reading to make sure its not a trick.
