How to improve Verbal and Reading

Hey everybody, I just got my score back. It 's painful.
Verbal 14 😱
Reading 9 😱
Bio 65
Chem 85
Math 85
Composite 49
I did studied Dr. Collin for verbal and reading. I thought I did good but somehow they end up like that. Now I have 3 weeks to improve them. I need advices from you guys. Help 🙁

I did as many practice tests as I could find and then, for the ones I got wrong, really studied the right answer to understand why it was right. From the tests, I also compiled a vocabulary list that I carried around with me and reviewed often. For several years, I've subscribed to m-w.com's word of the day to strenghten vocabulary. I also bought a used GRE verbal workbook for common test vocabulary and uncommon relationships for the analogies. Some of the relationships on the test were strange and took a minute for me to figure out. I think the many practice problems I saw helped me to think more flexibly. For those who are not native english speakers, I don't how you do as well as you do. You might find the GRE workbook helpful.
