1) Check off "White"

2) Check off "Asian"

3) Don't start your personal statement with "As". It pisses off @HomeSkool

4) Call it a day

Pacific Islander has become the newest "recently acquired" ethnicity, I'm afraid.
I saw well over a dozen this year who don't seem to come from any of the islands generally considered to be associated with this connotation (e.g.Polynesia, Melanesia, and Micronesia).

I've seen plenty Asians identify themselves as "Polynesian" here in Hawaii! I find it amusing and quite strange...

I'm Cambodian. One of the school I interviewed at brought out the only cambodian faculty they have and guess who interviewed me? Him.
