i am much better at doing questions with pencil and paper so I can read the actual question in front of me and use a real pencil to underline, circle and cross out. I just did a practice verbal on the computer and got a 7 whereas I have been getting 10s on the 2-3 i did in a book... i know it has to do with the computer..

suggestions on how to get rid of the discrepancy?

You can highlight passages on the actual exam. You can also cross out answer choices if necessary. You can also write notes about certain points in the passages but I feel this takes too long. I guess you just have to get used to it. Once you adjust to the computerized version, you score should correspond to the ones you got before.

The problem I have with computers is staring at a screen filled with black and white text for too long strains my eye so for the 10 minute breaks, I take at least 7-8 minutes to rest before the next section.
