How to prepare for application cycle?

Hey guys,
So I was wondering how I can prepare for the application cycle apart from writing my personal statement and getting LORs?
Like should I start making a list of my volunteering experiences w/the hours etc.?
Or should I do that when the application starts? And is there anything else that I'm missing?

Probably wouldn’t hurt to start compiling a list of your experiences. You have 500 characters to describe each experience so try and think about what you want to highlight and be concise.

Hey thank you so so much really helpful! Also had a quick question, the part where you say you recommend 6 for each section do you mean 6 for each subsection (E.g volunteering, research, extracurricular activities etc)? Or the section as a whole?

6 volunteering, 6 research, 6 extracurricular activities, etc. 🙂
