Hey All,

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I really need some advice. I'm taking my Step late September.

I went through Uworld once already, but didn't do well at all, and didn't really take it seriously, it was really half a**ed. I feel like this is my "actual" first time going through it. Should I do it system based or mixed? I heard if you do it system based you can really get down your strengths/ weaknesses etc, also annotate in FA and go along with that. & people say do mixed because the test will be mixed...

I've done First Aid about five or so times already, don't think i can learn anything more from it, so i was wondering what i should do...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Depends on what you want & your learning style

If you are doing it to learn then system based is better for the reasons you mentioned (I do 25 Qs at a time in tutor mode so I immediately know which answers I got right & wrong & can take notes. It is very important to know why the wrong answers are wrong)

If you want to simulate test taking conditions then 50Qs at a time, random, timed is the way to go

Thanks for your input man, really appreciate it.

While doing the questions, do you think it's more efficient to just read/ understand the wrong answers or do you think it's better to annotate them in FA & such?

I annotated, in the same section of FA, and wrote in the Q# next to it so if I want to review A-fib, I can just go to the specific Qs dealing with it
