how to retrieve your AAMC ID#?

applying for fellowships and on the NRMP site it says to ask your medical school if you've lost it--I did, they don't have it.😱 I've tried looking on various sites but can only find the "lost your password" (yeah, I don't remember that either) option--how can you get your AAMC ID#??

Is it on any of your USMLE or ERAS paperwork?

go to the nbme website
https://apps.nbme.org/ciw2/prod/jsp/login.jsp

and there should be a link to get your usmle id back.
Go back on the AAMC ERAS site and register. You don't need your aamc id number but having your nbme/USMLE number will let you finish registration and aamc will tell you your aamc id number

Go to the original AMCAS application page:

At the bottom it says: "Can't remember your AAMC username or password?" with a link.

Your current PD will have it. It's on the ERAS application to residency. For certain, they have a copy of that in your file.
