How to Send GRE Scores

I am taking the gre soon and I was wondering how do I send my scores to ptcas. I know there is a list of codes for each school. Do I enter this on test day or prior? Do I need to memorize the codes or am I allowed to write them down?

At the end of your test you can look up the schools you want to send them to. I think I picked a state then scrolled through a list of schools in that state until I found the right one.

If for some reason you don't do it that day, you can log on and do it from the GRE website later too. That may cost money though. There's a certain number you can do free on test day.

At the end of the test, you have the option to send your scores to 4 schools for free. You can look them up by state/school name/department, so don't memorize any codes. You aren't able to bring anything into the test room anyways. If you need to send to additional schools, you have to pay $27 per school, and you do that on the GRE website.
