Hi everyone,
First off.... thanks to you regulars on this forum... you have been a big resource in my DAT studies....... thanks!
I just thought you all might want to check this book out.... at your local borders or BnN... I found it mucho helpful ....so far so good... The series is called "How to SOlve Word Problems" from McGrawHill Publishing... they have them in numerous subjects eg basic math, algebra, geometry, and even chemistry.... the book is perfect for the DAT studies... not too basic... and not too dense... they pretty much hit every type of problems you may find... and considering a large portion of the DAT questions are in word format... I found the Chemistry and the Algebra one extremely helpful... eg coin problems, probabilities, equilibrium, thermo, etc.... seriously... check it out if you are having problems in those type of areas...
...and no! I am not a sales rep for that company... just trying to help out... I am taking the DAT on Aug 27th...
Is it just me or is the PAT section on "www.acethedat.com" pretty tough???? Talk about a humbling experience....
