hi guys, since the emphasisi is more on the biology lab procedures, I am wondering if there is one source that covers all the FRAP, western blots, sds-page, gel electrophoresis. I havent taken that bio course that discusses all these and i am illiterate when it comes to these. any help?

A standard lab protocol book should be more than sufficient for these. But I would recommend making a list of the most common procedures, and then just use Wiki instead.

I didn't know that lab techniques will be covered in the DAT, much less emphasized.

Pretty much what I did. I remember piggybacking someone's post to ask about lab procedures, and compiled a list. From there, wikipedia and a few old textbooks for extra reference gave me what I needed.

Just search lab techniques under this forum and some hits should pop up.

If you have Cliffs Bio, there's a chapter on labs. But I don't know whether it's in-depth enough.
