This might seem like a silly question but I've just finished my content review with the TPR books. I'm shopping around for the best practice question packages. So far, I have the practice Q from the EK content books, those from TPR content review books and just purchased the AAMC section bank Q online. I will be buying the Nextstep practice and strategy books and perhaps the nextstep practice exam bundles as well.

My question is: how should I make the most of these materials? Should I begin practicing in an untimed environment for the first few weeks to solidify the material I reviewed before doing timed exams? I was thinking of doing these questions one passage at a time then reviewing the answers and then attempting multiple passages in timed environment. My exam is Aug 25th so I have a few months to prep. Any tips on how to make the most of my time/materials?

Thank you for your help!

If you've already completed content review then why is your test date so far out?

Also, you don't want to use too many resources. That can get overwhelming and lead to burn out.

I suggest plowing through the AAMC section bank and really reviewing everything that you had trouble with afterwards. This might take a couple of weeks if you take your time with it.

Then, go straight to taking full lengths and reviewing them each time. After about 4 full lengths from a test prep company, consider taking one of the aamc exams.

I wouldn't be surprised if you'll be prepared for a June test date.

Thanks for your response! I decided to register for the Aug exam because I'm also working full time and will have a few things going on this summer and I wanted to make sure I give myself enough time to do practice questions so I don't stress out. I've gone over all the material from the TPR books but I still need tons of practice to really solidify the information and make sure I actually understand everything. I'm hoping practicing daily from now until Aug would be enough time.

I'm planning to use the AAMC section bank, nextstep practice and strategy books and the full lengths that came with my TPR books
