Thank you in advance!

I applied for this cycle, and am in the middle of writing and submitting secondaries to schools.
When addressing schools' name, is it okay to use their shortened name throughout the essay?
Or should I write the complete full name at first, and use the shortened name afterwards?

Thank you!

If they have an acronym on their website or in the secondary then use it. If not, call them by their full name. Or something shortened. Use “Harvard School of Medicine” first, then you can use Harvard. Or “University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine,” then you may go on to call it Pritzker.

Take cues from the school's website.

When in Rome...
If GW calls themselves GW in their secondaries questions, I'm going to do the same. Only 350 characters and I'm not wasting them on stupid filler
