I have Uworld and Kaplan qbanks - each have 2 exams, and I think NBME has 6? Plus Prometric offers one.

Are 11 exams excessive for this?

Besides getting you used to the length of the exam bla bla bla, is it useful in terms of testing your knowledge and also building your knowledge (with reviewing afterward)?

Would it not be the same as doing more question sets? Thoughts/opinions please. Thanks for the response 🙂

I didn't review the tests afterwards (I don't remember if I was able to review the individual questions as I took it almost 2 years ago). I used them to primarily see where I stood in terms of studying. The second NBME exam motivated me to study harder. I took the first uworld about 2 weeks out, and its result motivated me to move my test date a week earlier. Took uworld #2 two days out--its score was the exact same as #1 which gave me confidence for test day (and solidified my decision to 1.) move the test earlier and 2.) take the day before the exam off). Best of luck. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about anything regarding how I studied for step 1.
