I know that Cp is greater than Cv by a factor of R. I also know what both mean. Besides that, is there anything I should know? Is this a topic known to be tested heavily on the MCAT?

Cp and Cv are gas heat capacity for constant P or V. R-is a universal gas constant that relates them in ideal gas case. Based on the previous replies it looks like Cp and Cv are a rare questions 🙂

haha, fair enough. Just know that the heat capacity at constant P is greater than heat capacity at constant V and you should be good to go
