Where do you usually study? Do you study during the day or during the night? Do you take breaks in between? How long do you study before you call it quits? Study in your room or the library? Do you think you do better studying at a certain time/place?

Just curious. I'm studying for chemistry right now and I'm taking a 5 minute break, so I thought I'd ask this.

I mean, what's "studying"? Doing problems? Reading? Going over notes? I can do problems for a long time (a few hours?) without taking breaks. I can read for a pretty long time too, but not as long. Maybe an hour and then I'll get up and get a drink, mess with my phone, whatever for a few minutes.

I'm not a library person.

By studying, I mean basically what you do the day before the test. Not everyday studying.

Generally:
1) I study at home at a desk.
2) I get most of my work done between 7pm and 2am.
3) I take breaks whenever I get distracted. I don't get much done.
4) I study for 3-4 hours before I don't want to look at it anymore.
5) I don't study in my room or in the library.
6) I can't study where/when other people are making annoying noises.

Before an exam:
1) I study at home at a desk.
2) I study all day from when I wake up to when I go to bed for a few days.
3) I take maybe 1 hour of break time in a 16 hour period (each day).
4) I study until I run out of time, then I know it or I don't on test morning.
5) I don't study in my room or in the library.
6) I don't ever study with, or around, other people right before exams.

If a test is coming up, I sit down with the material a few days before. I study with music or with the internet open unless I'm really stuck on something. I can spend one or two hours on a subject before I get burned out. I always study at night--total night owl here.

I don't start studying until about 8:00 PM.

After dinner, I sit down on my desk with all my notes that will cover test material.

I rewrite the notes on a paper really fast in scribble. This is just my personal way of getting information into my head. It helps me memorize.

I do this for 4 hours straight. Take a small nap (2hours), get up and continue.

Try to review the notes at least 2 times.

Then, eat breakfast, go to school, and take the test.

Never failed me.

I'm most productive after 9 PM and in front of the TV in the living room. I cannot study in quiet areas like the library. I also like to study alone. My friends and I mess around way too much to study around each other.

In front of SDN. Fail.

My best studying comes when I wake up at around 4ish and once I notice the sun, efficacy goes down.

Noticing the sun is important, sometimes I am so lost in my stuff that I might not notice it till 10am or so. (hunger)

I do the majority of my studying over the weekend, whether the exam is on Monday or Friday, because I don't feel like doing much during the week, especially when I've been in class all day. I sit in the library for a good 5-6 hrs and repeat stuff in my head over and over again, often scribbling words and pictures on scratch paper. Snacks and bathroom breaks when needed.

I'm studying for my test tomorrow right now loLz.
