I worked for a psychiatrist as a personal assistant. Helped him organize and look up documents. Also helped him in reviewing/calculating numbers for his EEMHP (Effective Efficient Mental Health Program), which introduces shared medical appointments that could cut costs. I know him pretty well on a personal level, he invites me to his parties and dinners. I would like to get a LOR from him and I know he would gladly do it. The problem is he is of old age and is not very fond of technology. I usually do dictation for him. How would this work?

Isn't that a little weird? I feel that it wouldn't be genuine.

It's really common. I'm drafting the LoR for myself from my PI and he's going to edit it
