I dont see enough people on here talking about their Howard interviews. I interviewed on March 17th. Now all I can do is wait. HELLLLOOO, is anyone out there

There's about 2 other threads for Howard class of 2013. There are a few students who got their acceptance letter right away after their interview, as for others, like me and a few that I met at my interviews, they still haven't recieve anything as of yet.

I interviewed on January. Till today, I have not heard from them. I think that they might have have lost my application.

Yeah, I have no idea what is going on with our application process. I heard that some people got their acceptance letter 1 month after the dated letter was sent out. By then the letter stated that if they don't hear back, they would assume that you don't want to attend Howard.

It's ok, I'm pretty sure everyone will know by april if they get accepted or rejected. Until then, 😴

Right before our tour ms williams said they still were receiving apps, keep in mind this was on 3/17, and that the adcom would be meeting on friday the 20th of march, and that they might need to meet again the next friday. But i called ms williams last thursday and she said they didnt have a second adcom meeting, and that the only thing holding them back was getting all the letters signed and mailed.

I want to say that they have finished the interviews. But i have a feeling, they are going to have alot of spots open up, because of people declining to go another school. So dont give up just yet

Sup Frat. Fall 03. I interviewed with Habib and Akala. They grilled me! Habib seemed very uninterested in what I was saying and Akala wouldn't even look at me during the interview. I don't know if they were just seeing how I act under pressure or if they do that to everybody. I must say I did have an answer for all of their questions and never said "I don't know"

HAHAHA, thats funny yo. I keep hearing horror stories out of the group that interviewed with them. My experience was the total opposite. We shoulda be drinking coffee and smoking cigars with our interviewers. Laid back, and super encouraging. We should start hearing something soon

OMG, I had Dr Akala by HIMSELF, I had zero cushion!!!!!! As you can imagine...I still haven't heard back regarding an acceptance. He straight up acted like he DID NOT want to be there that day😕 , so I was lol about your comment!!

I interviewed with Dr. Scott and another lady. I'm sooo glad I didn't have the same experience as other people with different interviewers! They were cool...it was pretty laid back

They definitely dont give status updates over the phone. Most of the adcom is out until monday.(i called yesterday). When did you interview

Good luck to everyone who applied. I had my interview on jan. 12 and received my acceptance in the mail on march 11. My letter was dated feb, 26, so just be patient and wait is the best thing to do. They told me it would be a month till I heard from them but that wasnt the case. I remember calling and they give absolutely NO info over the phone about status or even if they mailed out anything. Another thing pay attention to the respond date on the letter, bcuz mine said monday, may 23. At first I didnt catch on but then realized i'm not special to have that long to think about my answer and it turned out to be a typo. So just make sure you stay on top of your stuff and good luck to everyone! see you in the fall

My letter was dated for 3 weeks prior to the date I received it, so I think they are sending out letters at different times. So hopefully your letter is in route or they just haven't sent it yet even though it may have been completed awhile ago

awww man, this sucks. I had all my info sent to my moms house in georgia. On sunday, on a whim, she decides to go to Barbados. im like are you serious. She will be back this thursday. Till then im sitting here whistling and kicking rocks. Congrats though frat!!!!. Did it come regular mail or fed ex. What day did it come?

I got it yesterday (4/6) by regular mail. It was in a normal envelope. It was dated 3/25 so about 1 week after our interviews. Don't worry MAB you will get in.

Congrats!! I interviewed in 3/16 also. Were you in the first or second group? And yeah my letter was dated 3/23 and I got it on 4/4. I'm mad they had me stressed out all that time I was waiting for the letter! O and good luck with the physics!

I was in the 1st group..i am gonna take the deposit to the school tomorrow myself...i dont trust snail mail...only a 30 minute drive...no biggie

Yep, fours years.....i'm pissed off b/c i went to howard to dropp off my deposit but they were closed (good friday), i guess monday is mandatory

No. I didn't receive anything from Howard on confirmation of the deposit but I did track it through the post office because I had someone sign for it. Thats how I know they got it.

Thats a good idea. I created a group titled Howard Pharmacy 2013. If you search that on facebook it should come up. Its a private group so you have to request to join, but it should be a good way to get to know each other. O and to the other message, my last name begins with J.
