Did Howard send out an application received email or a supplemental or any confirmation of anything…? Submitted in June but haven’t heard anything from them
 
I've also yet to receive a confirmation email either. Also when applying on the Adea website it said I needed to pay a $75 processing fee but I don't know where to pay that fee for Howard. If you have can you please help?

Yeah, I haven’t paid it. As far as I’m aware they have to send us an email to pay the fee.
 
anyone else is having a hard time paying the fee and submit the supplemental application? I am very confused about the instructions
 
is there anyone having a trouble making the payment for supplemental application for Howard University college of dentistry, I only have the option to pick international doctor of dental surgery for applicant type? if anyone is having the same issue or willing to help me do it please do 🙂

me too! I tried emailing back to confirm how it should be sent but i haven't gotten a response yet.

I got a response today, the office of admissions told me we (or at least I) should receive an email next week indicating the completion of my application with a link to complete the supplemental app

Same! I received that email as well.
 
Today at 12:14, I got an email with a link to reset my password. The link expires after 24hrs. I was able to reset the password, follow the instructions to pay the supplemental fees and complete my supplemental application. (it was kind of confusing)

Mine says received/under review. I got a 19 and I have a 3.99 GPA. Jesus take the wheel.
 
Does anyone know how many questions the supplemental application for Howard is? Is it long or about the same as the questions they asked in the original AADSAS application?

The supplemental is technically the questions asked on the aadsas portal. They just mail you a link to pay the supplemental fee
 
Anyone that has interviewed, what is the interview like? is it just theinterview or like a whole session? And how long was it? Just trying to make plans for later in the day. Thank you 🙏🏽

It’s a session on zoom then breakout rooms for personal interviews
Total zoom meeting was about 2-3hours. Individual interviews are about 15-20mins

You’d have to follow the instructions strictly. It was quite confusing but if you are still having problems I recommend contacting the admissions office

Did you just get the email for supplemental fee? if so, when did you submit your application?
 
Congratulations guys! It is extremely important that you guys create a HUCD29’ GroupMe for all of the accepted students! Also for those of you that have not been accepted don’t be scared! Howard and many other schools accept people late. I am a D1 currently and I’ve been in your shoes just last year. Some of my classmates weren’t accepted until March and April!!!! Also heads up: relax yourselves don’t stress yourself because it will take time to process info. Make sure you guys do your financial aid as soon as possible!

How do we fill out the FAFSA? Do we wait for the school to send the info?
 
When doing your FASFA go ahead and put Howard as your school of choice. Also just in case put the other schools as schools of choice too that you apply to just in case at the last moment, you get accepted and you may change your mind once you put these schools in it becomes final, technically it’s not final, you will be able to alter again way later in 2025 but it becomes a problem. So the best advice I can give you right now is to make sure that you complete the FASFA and put all of the schools that you have applied for on there

Hey so since the group was created, when you guys get an email from Howard in January make sure you guys actively seek out your classmates on social media! Exchange contact infos as well as make sure you guys remain together. It’s imperative! I will make sure to keep in contact with you guys. There’s so much to discuss but as for now enjoy your acceptances and time while you can because when dental school starts … 😁

Hey how many IS is already accepted who have joined the group and how many seats are still available. I applied on September 11th paid the first application fee but after that havent heard any thing so far . any one like me .

I would double check your email inbox. After submitting your application on AADSAS, I believe you should have shortly received an email confirmation for your application. In this email, it prompts you with the instructions for submitting your secondary/supplemental application fee. Generally, your application will not be reviewed until it is submitted.

I've already paid & done all of that, still haven't heard any updates
 
I declined my offer yesterday as well. Best of luck everyone 🙂
