How're people doing on KAPLAN Section tests?

I just took PS Section test 1...

and got a 63% :S (33/52). The questions were pretty hard and I looked up the raw scale conversion of the FLs (even though this isn't a FL) and correlated it with a 11 from most of the Kaplan FLs... and a 9 with one of them.. wtf?

I'm done with 2/3rds of PS review.. haven't touched electrochem/acids/bases yet..

We are supposed to take Kaplan FL #1 this weekend

How're the rest of you guys doing on these??

I think they are rough as well.

I got about the same percentage on the first one half way through my PS review.

I would worry about getting use to the passages and timing and use the AAMCs to judge where you actually are.

I like the fact they are harder because they make me feel less prepared and study harder.

I hear people say "get used to the passage" but every passage is totally different. .. or maybe its just the Kaplan materials.

the section tests were definitely difficult. after a while, if you are scoring in the 85% range i would say that is equal to 13+

For me it just depends on the topic. I've jumped all over the place score wise.

I don't remember how I did on the first one, but I know on the second one I missed 1 question. Ofcourse this has a lot to do with luck, but I think if you successfully utilize the passage, you can get a lot more than what you can pull out of your behind.
