How’s the job market for critical care only folks?

Background is anesthesia, considering pursuing a CCM fellowship. Hoping to end up in the NE area closer to family. Can anyone speak to the critical care job market out of fellowship? Are jobs fairly easy to come by for new grads? All the info I can find is from 1-2 years ago which may not reflect today’s market. Thanks!

Find the hospital you want and most likely they will be hiring.

Tired the recruiter and no luck? No posting ? Want to get in touch with an Intensivist and you don’t know anyone? Call the icu and ask an icu nurse to connect you to the one on call( that worked once, we hired that doc).

I like that latter strategy, never considered it before.
